This tutorial wasn’t requested or anything but since there isn’t a lot of tutorials teaching how to do this way I decided to give it a try (sorry for the bad english lol) Somethings are in Portuguese so if you have any doubts don’t hesitate to ask. This tutorial was made on Windows! Hope you can understand (:
Step 1: First, we have to open the video on KMPlayer and on the part of the video that you want to gif, press ctrl + g and this box will pop up [x]. Your settings must be in the way that they are in the picture! And once your finished with the extraction of frames, click on the button to stop.

Step 2: Now, open Photoshop CS6 and click on file > scripts > load files into stack. This [x] box will pop up and then you’ll click on ‘browse’ find the folder of KMPlayer, select the images that you want on your gif and then click ‘ok’.
Step 3: Once your pictures are opened at Photoshop, click on that little arrow and select ‘Create Video Frames’ [x]. So your timeline should look like this:
Now you’ll have to click on the menu button and select ‘Make Frames From Layers’. Then. click on the menu button again and select ‘Reverse’ because your frames are backwards. Here’s the menu button: (he’s on the right corner of the timeline!) Adjust the time of the animation by clicking on the menu button again and select ‘Select All Frames’ and click where’s written ‘0 sec’ and select your timing. *Adjust the looping settings to forever!*
Step 4: Click on the button ‘Convert to Video Timeline’ . Your timeline should look like this [x] Then select all your frames like this [x] then click on filter > convert for smart filters.
Step 5: Crop, sharpen, color your gif, do whatever you want to change him. After doing all this, click on file > save for web & devices. My settings look like this [x]. Save it, and then your gif you’ll be ready to be used! My look like this:
